New office buildouts and upgrades for Hollywood businesses — workstation drops, phone lines, server room wiring, and access point infrastructure. Minimal disruption to daily operations.
Long-run cable installations, fiber backbone segments where needed, industrial conduit, and ceiling-mounted access point drops for large-footprint operations in Hollywood.
We coordinate with general contractors during the rough-in phase for new construction and TI buildouts — getting cabling in the walls before they close, saving significant cost versus retrofit installation.
Infrastructure designed for your environment
Hollywood's hotel and hospitality industry is the most cabling-intensive business sector in the city. A hotel's structured cabling infrastructure runs behind everything that guests experience: in-room internet, television systems, IP phones, electronic door locks, elevator controls, and the back-of-house systems that management relies on. When this infrastructure is outdated or poorly installed, the symptoms show up in guest reviews — 'poor Wi-Fi' is consistently one of the top complaints in hotel reviews and directly impacts booking rates.
The revitalized downtown Hollywood entertainment district around Young Circle has driven significant new construction and renovation activity, and new restaurant, bar, and retail buildouts in this area often need complete structured cabling from scratch. Unlike established commercial buildings with existing infrastructure, new buildout spaces require the entire cabling backbone — main distribution frame, cable runs to every POS station, bar area, kitchen, and outdoor space, and coordination with other trades working simultaneously.
For Hollywood's growing healthcare sector — specialist practices, outpatient facilities, and rehabilitation centers affiliated with Memorial Health System — structured cabling needs to meet the technical and compliance requirements of clinical networking while being installed on schedules that don't shut down clinical operations. We've developed specific procedures for healthcare cabling in occupied clinical buildings: phased installations, evening and weekend work, and same-day testing to ensure nothing is disrupted when the facility opens the next morning.

Common questions
How much does network cabling cost for an office in Hollywood? +
Typical office cabling runs $150–$250 per drop installed, depending on cable length, conduit requirements, and building access difficulty. A 20-drop office typically runs $3,000–$5,000 fully installed and certified. We provide a fixed-price quote after a free on-site survey — no surprises after the job starts.
What's the difference between Cat6 and Cat6A? +
Cat6 supports 1 Gbps at 100 meters and 10 Gbps up to 55 meters. Cat6A supports 10 Gbps at the full 100-meter distance and is better shielded against interference. For most offices, Cat6 is sufficient. For environments with longer runs, higher bandwidth needs, or where Wi-Fi 6/6E access points are planned, we recommend Cat6A.
How long does a typical office cabling project take? +
A 20–30 drop office installation typically takes 1–2 days for cable pulls, terminations, and certification testing. Larger installations or those requiring significant conduit work may take 3–5 days. We provide a timeline with your quote and work around your business schedule.
Do you provide documentation after the installation? +
Yes. Every installation includes: a port-to-port cable schedule (mapping every drop to its patch panel port), cable certification test results for every run, labeled diagrams of the patch panel, and photos of the server room and key installation points. This documentation is essential for future troubleshooting and is included at no extra cost.
Our Hollywood Beach hotel needs to upgrade the guest Wi-Fi — does that require new cabling? +
Almost certainly yes if the hotel is more than 8–10 years old. Wi-Fi 6 access points require at least Cat5e (ideally Cat6) to a Power over Ethernet (PoE) switch. Many older hotels have Category 3 phone wiring in the walls that can't carry data, or Cat5e routed for a single access point per floor rather than the high-density deployment that modern guest Wi-Fi requires. We assess existing infrastructure first and provide a realistic picture of what needs to be replaced.
We're building out a new restaurant in downtown Hollywood — what cabling do we need? +
A restaurant cabling plan typically includes: server room or communications closet with patch panel, drops at every POS station, access point drops at ceiling level for staff and guest Wi-Fi, bar area connectivity, kitchen printer and KDS drops, and outdoor data ports for patio areas. We coordinate with your AV and POS vendors to ensure all drops are in the right locations before walls are closed.
Can you also help with the Wi-Fi access points and network equipment after the cabling? +
Yes. We handle the complete network buildout — cabling, switch configuration, Wi-Fi access point installation, and router setup. Most clients have us complete the entire project rather than doing just the cable installation and leaving the rest for another vendor.
